Notes for current Fleshlight owners
There are some things you should know if you plan to use a Fleshlight you already own.

A) MOST IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE CORN STARCH OR ANY POWDERS THAT CONTAIN CORNSTARCH ON INSERTS USED IN PRICELESS. Corn starch has a affinity for the clear polycarbonate protective tubes of the machine and they are practically impossible to clean if you get wet corn starch on them. It will not come off in the dishwasher! The inserts we provide are powdered with food-grade talc powder. There are powders around that are pure talc at your local drugstore but you will have to read the labels carefully or ask the pharmacy staff. If corn starch has been used on your insert in the past, wash it carefully, and replace the powder with talc.

B) The Gray Case Fleshlights will not work with Priceless™.

C) The "Ice" case will not work with Priceless™. Because of differences in shrink rates as plastic cools after being injection molded, the Ice case is slightly larger and will not screw into Priceless properly.

D) The "butt" inserts are not suitable for use with Priceless™. There is too much material at the extreme edges of these inserts which comes in contact with the protective tubes creating excessive friction.

E) The "super tight" and "ultra tight" inserts are not recommended . Unless you are of very small dimensions, it is difficult to maintain the proper amount of lubrication with these inserts. That said, some testers that "claim" to be of normal size say they work fine.

Is the sex machine noisy?

  • YOU WON'T HEAR A THING OVER THE SCREAMS!
  • Really though, the machine itself is very quiet. Some screwdrivers and drills however do make modest amounts of noise when they are under load. The general rule of thumb is the cheaper the device, the noisier it is. I haven't found the noise a terrible distraction but I am usually watching a video or movie on the computer. If the noise is terribly bothersome to you, you can use headphones.

It looks too big?

  • The transmission, which is the actual operating part of the machine, is quite small. It is less than 9" long and only 2.25" in diameter. The gearbox is only slightly larger. However, in this initial release, the entire effort has been focused on activating the Fleshlight and the Fleshlight itself is large. In fact the transmission will almost fit completely inside the Fleshlight case.

  • The Fleshlight is 9"s long and 4"s in diameter and we are moving it through a full three inches. It is therefore not possible to safely enclose this device in a tube less than one foot long and four inches in diameter which is what we have done.

  • The female configuration is a lot less un-wieldy and could in fact be made smaller. In the future we will provide an option and/or upgrade with smaller tubes suitable for female use, but we wanted this initial release to be gender neutral so everyone could use the product.

  • ILF, the manufacturer of the Fleshlight, also makes a smaller product called "Sex in a Can". We might also try and make a version that uses this product which would allow the tubes to be made smaller.

Why is it so expensive? back to top

  • We understand the cost places Priceless™ beyond the means of many of you. We are saddened by this from both a personal and business perspective. Everyone is interested in masturbation, so nothing would make us happier than to have a total available worldwide market of 3 billion adult users.
  • First: Keeping the cost low has been a priority at every stage of design. Using external power sources like screwdrivers and drills, it was hoped would allow many of you to use something you already had and would not need to purchase. This had the added advantage of making the machine fully submersible for easy cleaning.

Second: Although conceptually simple, the machine is complex. There are 42 different parts for a total of 47 pieces. 28 of these parts are custom manufactured for this machine only. 14 parts are custom injection molds or extrusions which costs many thousands of dollars each, even in China (4 times as much in the US). Several of the plastic parts require machining operations after injection, and all the metal parts are custom machined stainless steel including a custom manufactured sealed ball bearing!

Third: The plastics themselves are expensive. I have bought many devices made from acrylic and other inexpensive plastics. None of them survived a drop on a tile floor and some didn't even survive shipment to the house. Most of the machines plastic parts are made of polycarbonate. This is the plastic that bullet-proof glass is made from. It can be broken, but I had to throw (not drop, throw) the machine quite hard three times on the concrete floor at the factory before I broke it. The gears, bearings, cover, fork, and shuttle are all made from acetal. This is the same plastic the gears on my metal lathe are made from. It is a self lubricating extraordinarily hard plastic, but also expensive.

Lastly: We argue that Priceless™ is quite inexpensive when compared to other serious intercourse simulating machines. There is a good reason most devices you find at the corner sex shop and online are sold as novelties and not sexual aids. That is because none of them are any good at simulating any real or imagined sexual act. There are other machines that are, but you won't find them down the street. Here is a sampling:

You can make up your own mind about these sex machines, but we characterize them as large, heavy, cumbersome, expensive, noisy, gender specific, generally unserviceable by unskilled user, single action, unhygienic, and in many cases plainly dangerous. We worked hard and have a huge investment in overcoming these difficulties. If we let some of you down on price, we are sorry.

I don't like the rotation? back to top

Combining rotation with linear thrusting is a unique feature of Priceless™ and we strongly urge everyone to try it. The rotary action is, of course, not a standard menu item in normal human-to-human sexual activity. In fact it requires a sex swing with one partner suspended above the other to accomplish this feat (email better ideas by using our contact form.

We do recognize that even after trying it, that some of you will prefer just the linear thrusting without the rotation. The machines shipping currently INCLUDE the new FREE-SPIN assembly. This allow you to select whether the rotation is enabled or disabled.

If, on the other hand, you enjoy the rotation and would prefer to suppress the thrusting action, this can already be accomplished by removing the main bearing that engages the shuttle groove. Your device will now rotate without any linear motion.

Won't the battery go dead? back to top

  • This was a concern for us. All the screwdrivers and drills I have used have removable battery packs and I always have a spare charged and ready to swap when I am in-session. However, I have never actually experienced the problem of having to change the battery with any of the screwdrivers or drills I have tried. These are quite powerful devices and despite having to overcome the inertia of flinging 2lbs of Fleshlight around, the machine consumes relatively little power compared to screwing a 3 inch #8 wood screw into a 2x4 wall stud which is what these devices routinely do.
  • It will depend on which device you have or buy. I'm simply saying it hasn't been a problem for me. And NO, I do not have a problem with premature ejaculation.

Will it wear out or break? back to top

  • I have bought many devices made from acrylic and other inexpensive plastics. None of them survived a drop on a tile floor and some didn't even survive shipment to the house. Most of Pricelessís™ plastic parts are made of polycarbonate. This is the plastic that bullet-proof glass is made from. It can be broken, but I had to throw the machine quite hard three times on the concrete floor at the factory before I broke it.** To break it, you're going to have to try hard.
  • **(DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. The first two times in bounced nearly to the ceiling. )

The gears, bearings, cover, fork, and shuttle are all made from acetal. This is the same plastic the gears on my metal lathe are made from. It is a self lubricating extraordinarily hard plastic. There is a sealed lubricated stainless steel bearing that engages the groove in the shuttle and is responsible for the linear thrusting action.

If anything wears out through normal use we will replace it free of charge. Our plan is to establish a "Hall of Fame" and add any user who can establish that they wore out one of these components using the machine only on their genitals and not polishing their car.

What screwdrivers and drills do you recommend? back to top

  • Priceless™ should work with almost any cordless electric screwdrivers and most low speed cordless drills. It was designed to operate between 200 and 400 RPM which is the speed of most screwdrivers and should not be driven over 550 RPM so look at this if you are purchasing a drill.
  • Variable speed drills work wonderfully, but again do not use one that can exceed 550 RPM. See the owners manual for these precautions. My favorite is the one you see in the photos on this site: the Ryobi 9.6V available at Home Depot for thirty something dollars. I have also used drills from Makita and others successfully.

Screwdrivers - The most important criteria in screwdriver selection is a removable battery pack. You should get the extra battery so you can swap them out if you run out of juice. I like the Milwaukee screwdriver which has two speeds, both 200 and 400 RPM, but it is quite expensive. I have used the "Skil 2211 Super Twist" with good success which is only $37 from many online vendors (Google it). The ultimate screwdriver is the Dewalt DW920K-2. It is about $99 at Home Depot but comes with two batteries (which you want) and is variable speed. This is an awesome tool.

Why aren't you selling drills and screwdrivers? back to top

  • We plan to as soon as we can find one we like as much as those mentioned above that we can make money selling to you at a reasonable price. Frankly, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and others online offer these tools so cheaply that we simply can't compete.
  • We are still looking but my guess is if we do offer anything, it will be only as a convenience to our customers with the warning that they can buy these products more inexpensively elsewhere. Sorry, but we do intend to make money.
